Just got back from a 4 night stay, was amazing, hired fire pit and marshmallows which kids loved, there are tree swings and football goals to keep kids busy, clean and friendly, will be returning

Well spaced out site well kept and clean,we booked for one night and decided to say another night.

Stayed for 3 nights with grandkids and they absolutely love it they didn’t want to go home so another stay is on the cards thank you

We had a wonderfull stay at westholme farm. Loved the space for the children to run and play. The firebasket (with marshmallows!) was just perfect! Very nice, perfect last stop before going to the ferry.

Cannot Fault the pitches, was greeted on arrival, very friendly, decent pub in the village, luckily no one was using our pitch after us and we decided to stay late which we ok'd with the owners.

Just returned from a 2 night stay, lovely small friendly campsite. Kids loved the goal posts and rope swing.Owners were great, firepits were an added bonus and great value for money.Shower and toilets were clean and tidy, at times needed to queue but always well stocked with soap and loo roll!Pitches were fab size and well maintained.Great little gem and would definitely return

Enjoyed our stay, peaceful site and amenities were adequate, tho if the site was busy the showering cubiclewould be busy, another cubicle would be handy, near to a beautifull village with good pubs

We really enjoyed this site. So much space, really peaceful, and well organised so everyone had privacy. Would definitely return.

The owners are friendly and the facilities good. Lovely hot water for the shower and washing up sink (both of a generous size). And a huge grassed area for children to play. It’s a little dusty everywhere at the moment because of some construction work taking place but that’s unavoidable and won’t last too long. Would recommend.

I enjoyed my stay, the site was very clean and tidy, and very peaceful, plenty of wildlife to watch. The Toilets and Shower were very clean and tidy also. The village of Heighton was a 10 min walk away with local shop and pub. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Nice, tranquil and peaceful site host very welcoming it had swings for the kids,and fire pits were at hand toilets and shower spotless it gets a 10 out of 10 for me

We had a lovely evening at Westholme Farm. Owners directed us where to pitch our tent and were friendly. Small, quiet site with a few things for kids such as tyre swing and football nets. We saw several rabbits hopping about and there was a field to walk the dogs. Very young man expertly delivered our fire basket which was a nice addition to our evening. Toilets were very clean. Local village looked like a short walk and would like to explore when we come back. We will definitely be returning with our children soon!

Couldnt fault the camp site in any way,beutiful surroundings,facilities were excellent and the owners very friendly, could have a fire and take dogs,thank you for a lovely stay 😊

Really friendly, Mr spent time with my sister/partner Friday evening and we were very much left alone to please ourselves. Others on site were well behaved and no trouble.Facilities very new and clean, though shower overflows into cubicle and I am sure this will be rectified quickly as the site is worthy and you can see care is given to the campsite business.

We had the most peaceful nights sleep!Loved the bunny rabbits hopping around.Good facilities and friendly manager, thanks!

Nice large grassed area, EHU and drinking water at our pitch.Toilets and shower clean and tidy, good to have access to them.The Bay Horse pub just 11 minutes walk away, nice food.

Another enjoyable stay at Westholme Farm. Recent upgrades such as the hard standing pitches are a nice addition. Lovely to sit out for breakfast accompanied by the birdsong and church bells peeling in the distance too….

Overall, great day a night spent there. Ground is majority flat, shower and toilet facilities are really good, I would say a few more toilets and possibly another shower or 2. Just to accommodate the volume of people there. Definitely would come again so keep a look out for our next visit 😁

Nice flat dry field, good electric hook up, nice toilet and shower.Footy nets and tree swing for the kids and close to the little town with a spar, takeaway and 2 pubs.Reasonable rates and good base for most of the north east definitely would recommend

Booked last minute so was happy to find site easily as not far off A68. The grass pitch was a good size and lovely field if you had children with you.Plenty of hot water and lots of room in the shower and two toilets.Village centre was a 12 minute walk and the pub looked good as did the smell of food!

From the brilliant communication, warmest of welcomes, wonderful organisation and great facilities, our stay was just like Mary Poppins herself - practically perfect in every way.The hosts Emma and Ray have managed to merge being hospitable with allowing you space to enjoy your stay uninterrupted. Nothing was too much trouble and the hire of a fire pit was a great addition to our stay - hats off to the young delivery driver for his first rate customer service, too.This site was first a firm favourite for our families and has now allowed us to enjoy the final few days of summer as a group of friends. Thanks for the memories, just like the Terminator - "We'll be back!"

Came with 3 grandchildren and they loved it second time here and on leaving kids didn’t want to go home again we’ll definitely be back soon thanks Ray for sorting swing for kids 😀😀😀

Small site, friendly owners good communication and response time. Facilities were basic 2 communal toilets and 1 shower also a pot wash sink. If site was full facilities would possibly be a long wait. Village with 2 pubs and a shop was a 10 min walk away up a slight hill. Lovely food in both pubs. There’s also an Aldi M&S and a larger pub a few minutes drive away. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

This is our second stay. It’s a lovely quiet site. And the night sky is rewarding in a clear night.A quick 10 min walk to the nearest village which has a shop, two pubs and a chippie. Perfect.

What can I actually say, we love this site facilities are always clean as is the whole site in general. Ray and Emma couldn't of been more helpful and understanding when our tow car decided it would breakdown whilst away, letting us stay on pitch until our recovery truck arrived. Thank you so much again

Stopped for 4 nights, really enjoyed a relaxing peaceful break. Immaculate toilets and shower, bags of hot water. A large second field for walking doge. This is my 3rd visit to the site. Owners are very friendly and helpful. Will return again.

We enjoyed this site very much; it is well organised and the owners are welcoming and helpful. It’s peaceful and 10 minutes walk from an attractive village with pubs and a decent supermarket. We definitely hope to return. I reserved a star because I think this is a site that is in development and I’m sure there are a few minor improvements that will be made but that won’t prevent you enjoying the site.

Lovely quiet, level site with a pub and corner shop within a short walking distance.

Pleasant small campsite with friendly and helpful owners. Level grass pitches against a background of peaceful countryside. Well set-up toilets/washblock with properly hot water in the shower! Local pub a few minutes away on a quiet road.

We stayed here from Saturday to Monday and it was such a quiet and peaceful stay. Not the largest campsite but it's perfect for a quiet getaway. We arrived with no fly lead adapter but luckily Ray (the owner)was able to lend us one! Other campers were also very friendly and lent us other equipment which we didn't have. Overall it was a great stay and we'll definitely be back soon!

We have visited this site loads of times now never had any issues we love it hence coming back loads so don’t want to rate it down ,, but this visit was a little different . There was bits of rubbish around site toilets weren’t cleaned no toilet paper in any for 4 days (not a issue as take own anyway and use van toilet )but it’s just the small things,Nosign of anyoneI just think owners should say hito customersagain not issue for us but I helped a lady who had spent 20 mins looking for owners so she could pay..I told her we’re to goI know it’s a working farm so they busy but a quick pop onto site to say hi if need anything or any problems….Just my opinionor maybe shut gate and send customers a code to get accesss to stop just anyone driving on to site.. people drive to fast on there aswell that needs monitoring

Owners are brilliant, toilets and showers are always clean great place for kids lots of space to run around mine love the rope swing also just a short walk to the village that has 2 pubs a spar shop and a takeaway

A pleasant, easy to find location. Close to A1M and visitor attractions such as Raby Castle. The facilities were clean and more complete than is typical on small independent sites in our experience. The pitch cost was also very fair. We were over-nighting in May and will consider staying again in future when in the region. The grass might be kept a bit shorter but that was not a major issue.

Nice peaceful flat field with a great hot shower and toilet block with good washing up facilities. A swing and football goals to entertain children and great atmosphere. Very glad we picked this site.
